EANN hosts one Board Meeting each year, held in a different member country each time. All members are welcome to attend. Information on joining EANN can be found on the membership page.

Past events, such as the 2023 Iceland Congress, have brought together members from across Europe to exchange knowledge, collaborate, and shape the future direction of the association. Upcoming events follow the same structure, providing ongoing opportunities for connection, learning, and participation in EANN’s work.

15. EANN Quadrennial Congress

Seville, Spain | May 5–7, 2027

We are delighted to announce the 15th EANN Quadrennial Congress, in partnership with the 49th AEEN Annual Congress, which will bring neuroscience nurses from across Europe and beyond to the vibrant city of Seville.

We Meet

The annual Board Meeting offers a valuable face-to-face environment where members of the various working groups review their achievements and update their action plans for the coming 12 months. Members may participate in one or more working groups, which continue their collaboration throughout the year via email and Teams meetings.

As all EANN members are automatically part of the World Federation of Neuroscience Nurses (WFNN), the President’s Communication segment of the meeting also includes discussion of global innovations in neuroscience nursing.

Additional agenda items commonly include updates from each country’s Neuroscience Nurse Association. These reports provide an excellent opportunity to share best practices, exchange experiences, and highlight projects or areas in need of support. The annual meeting is also where planning and voting take place for the Quadrennial Congress.
